Empowering women, supporting children, and fostering a strong sense of community
loans.com.au is more than just an online lender. We understand that nobody really wants a loan, rather, they want a home to live in, a new car to drive, their next investment property or to save thousands on an existing loan.
We put people at the heart of everything we do, and that doesn't stop at supporting customers with their loans. We also do our best to support our local community through our Women, Children & Community Program.
We participate in a number of ways, whether it be financial support via official sponsorship, employer-supported volunteering with our staff giving their time, donating items, or raising awareness for local charitable causes. loans.com.au works to support many causes which benefit the Women, Children, and Community in Australia.
Where we're making a difference
Women
We are extremely passionate about diversity and empowering women to succeed, whether it be improving their financial literacy and understanding finances in the home, or navigating their career success.
loans.com.au sponsors a number of organisations with a similar purpose - aiming for parity, diversity and increasing the number of female role models and leaders in the typically male dominated fields of finance, technology, digital and even sports.
Children
We support many organisations who dedicate their mission to assisting children in need, including children with rare diseases and those in the foster system.
We also support children getting involved in local sports. Encouraging participation and providing additional funding at a grassroots level, these sponsorships inspire and support the next generation of sporting heroes, and follows our long term sponsorship of Brisbane Broncos and the NRLW Brisbane Broncos.
Community
Our staff our proud to get involved in our local community. Annually, staff can opt to take one paid volunteer day per year to support local charities.
We also get involved in quarterly initiatives supporting causes such as domestic violence, women in need, male mental health and those experiencing homelessness to name a few.
Policy & Support
Our people are at the heart of everything we do. We are committed to looking after our customers, staff and community in which we live. We've instilled measures to support customers experiencing a domestic or family violence or any particular hardship, as well as our staff members.
