Orange Sky
Orange Sky Laundry is a charity based in Brisbane, Australia that offers a free mobile laundry service for the homeless.
This organisation provides a platform for at risk Australians to connect through a regular laundry and shower service. The focus is on creating a safe, positive and supportive environment for people who are too often ignored or who feel disconnected from the community.
Why do we work with them?
The team at loans.com.au are proud to work with charities across Brisbane that support our community. We have seen first hand the difference that these types of organisations make, and we understand what a difference volunteering a small portion of our time can have.
What have we achieved?
We were thrilled to team up with Orange Sky and 50-50 Charity Raffle to help do some fundraising that will help to make a difference in the lives of vulnerable people around Brisbane.
We helped to raise a total of $35,295, with our volunteers raising $4,725 towards this fantastic total!
We had a great time getting out and chatting to people about the work done by Orange Sky in providing a platform for at risk Australians to connect through a regular laundry and shower service.
