We sat down with Emma and asked her a few questions on her experience, challenges, and how she overcame them.
Background
We wanted to buy an investment property. We were already a loans.com.au customer after my sister recommended loans.com.au as an option with lower rates and better processes than the banks. A few years ago, we refinanced our current owner occupied home loan to loans.com.au, and we wanted to go with the same lender to help us purchase an investment property.

Challenges
- Finding the right place and the right area was initially difficult
- Research was a bit difficult - we do not have the background in real estate so did not know where to start
- We’d heard some people we knew had issues buying off the plan, so we didn’t want to do this
